Andrei was named after Andrei Tarkovsky — a choice made by his parents before he had any say in the matter, and one he has spent his life growing into. Born and raised in Lima, Peru, he now lives in Munich, Germany, where the kind of cinema he always wanted to see is finally playing nearby.
